    Unknown bike brand. This bike has been at my home for years, I originally purchased it at a garage sale when my boys were little. It features a banana seat and hard rubber tires. The tire in the front is smaller than the back. It's a 20" bike with racked handlebars. The name tag is gone but I located the model #512.87521. I was told this may be a Ross Apollo or Murray but I haven't been able to locate a bike like this anywhere.

      The model number you posted appears to be a Sears Model Number. Go to the Sears online Parts Store and enter it. Then you will need to search out who made bikes for Sears around this time. I think it was Murray!

      I had a Sears "Spyder" bike in the 60's. It looked different than this model though.

      The style is still around. We see some "yachties" riding similar around the lagoon area. Never seen 1 try to climb a mountain with one.

      Most bicycles are factory stamped on the frame, below the sprocket.

      It would have had a sticker on front, this is a Hedstom bike.
