Saturday Evening Scout Post Boy Scout Handbook 1942

As it is dated by the original owner as 1942 I know this is from 1942. As usual it has a Norman Rockwell cover.
Beautiful color inside cover. Most of the book is black and white with illustrations.
In photo number 3 it looks like the Boy Scouts were confused about poisonous vs venomous. Although I have a theory that venomous snakes were called poisonous snakes until some smarty changed it.
Last is the proper use of signal flags aka semaphore flags which is similar to Morse code and there is a flag position for each letter. Both Steve Scout and GI Joe have semaphore flags.
Plenty more in this book perhaps some other time. In the meantime I have two other handbooks for posting.
