    I bought this from a friend who says that it is from Shiwan China - Shiwan pottery, i assume. My friend's grandfather lived in the Jewish quarter of Shanghai at the turn of the 20th century and he collects a lot of Chinese pieces. This is a large and beautiful ewer with honest wear on it. what do you think?
