    I retrieved this from a collection that one of my relatives had before passing away. He fought in WW2 and had a nice collection. I only know that it was on the front of a explosive projectile and it has an empty top end, so it's safe.

      Appears to have Whitworth threads.

      I had to look that up (Whitworth Threads) and I found that they are British. You are pretty sharp to see such detail. Thanks.
