There are a few of these Bohemian pink and green glass pieces in my collection. Mostly vases with cut to clear decor. Makes me think of spring and tree blossoms.
This little decorative piece is about 5 inches long, not marked.
Magnificent piece, lovely at every angle & perfect Thanksgiving post!
Looks like a little green-headed dog wagging its tail.
Bambus - a square headed dog with indigestion....lol
Thank you for visiting.
Wowser - Stunning !!
Thank you for the fine comments, and all the loves CW members, much appreciated.
Seems my little cornucopia has several relatives posted today. I find to the other examples have many difference, from the number of ribs, to the length of the opening, to applied clear handle, to the clear tooled foot rest petals, and of course the colors. Mine had a gilded rim as well, which has mostly worn off.
I have a difficult time with attributions made solely with images. There are so many variations a camera can create, based on the position of the object, the angle used for the photograph, the lighting, and the alterations possible with image software.
Images are a great source to bolster identifications, they are also highly valued tools, which are shared with many other collectors. To decide that person A copied person's B image, is an assumption, as person C or D, also have the same images in their own archive and are willing to share them.
