I found this stuff while metal detecting back in the 1990's around Corsicana, Texas.
The good stuff was already stolen and or picked out of my bags. This is what is left after everyone had their hands in it and I took out the money. It's still some interesting finds. The first is a carriage that is on a printing block and is bent but it looks really cool.
Update......I added a photo of one of the major sites that these items were unearthed from and a comment. Many of the items in the 3rd photo were found at the Tucker Town site. I even found a 1899 Silver Dollar at that site.

Back in the 90's......One of my coworkers came with me to watch me metal detecting in Corsicana, Texas. He told me about this property that he found near his home and it was formerly named "Tucker Town" back in the late 1800's. These days, they plow it and farm it. It was an oil boom tent city set up before they built what now is Corsicana. Well, he enjoyed watching me so much that he went and bought his own machine. The first time that we went out with his new machine and within minutes of starting, he found an 18kt Gold pocket watch! I could not believe my eyes when he dug it up, it had plow marks on it and the works were destroyed inside but he had already paid for his machine in just minutes. I went back with him several times and found nice coins and small jewelry and stuff. In my photos you can still see some metal tent rope tensioners that came from the tents that the oil workers lived in out there (photo #3) ...good times.

Great finds ever! Congratulations! Detecting does not show its miracle to every detector. Hope one day I will be a HistoricalMetal Detector. Thanks so much for sharing. Keep doing the fabulous work.
