I picked this great looking stool up at an estate sale and don't know anything about it. It's marked 1909 on the bottom of the seat.
That's all that I have to go on other than it did come from an estate that was packed with good antique small items.
Do you know anything about it?

When this was made there were thousands of furniture makers in North America. By the 1970's there were hundreds and hundreds that had closed down, over 95% leaving no leaving no records at all of their existance, so it is hard to attribute furniture without a label.

      Thank you PhilDMorris
I forgot to mention that I went to an estate sale several years ago and watched an old man walk out with this very stool. Some years past and at another estate sale of an obvious collector of small antique items, it sat.
I felt strongly but didn't ask, that this is the same stool I watched being purchased by an old man several years ago.
