Stormy Morning & Windy Afternoon - 2 Schotller Paintings

I rarely upload paintings- that said I rarely come across really lovely ones on my trips to charity shops. Except up to recently- these two were spotted in a charity shop as a pair of watercolour nautical scenes. What I love most about them is the rather nostalgic feel of them and of course the lovely pastel colours- the beaches are strangely like beaches I've walked on and explored and for some reason the artist has been able to capture that feeling in me- that I've been there before.
A Google search brought up the female artist Katharina Schöttler, a German/dutch artist I had never heard of before and am really impressed by her work. There's not a lot of information out there on her so I suppose she'd not a very famous artist as such. I can't even say that these are very valuable...
