I was shopping at a new Thrift Store near my home and came across this beauty. I did not know anything about her or the artist but took a chance and bought her and got her home, did some research and I believe she is a good purchase. The piece is about 24" tall and is cast in bronze and is of a 1920's Flapper Girl dressed to the nines. Though it is not extemely old (made in mid eighties), in the classic Art Deco Style, she harkens back to the decadent deco period. In her right hand , (which had been previously damaged) , she would have been holding a long, slender cigarette which was as long and slender as her figure. Hard to read, but the base is signed (Claude) Le Clerc, Austin Prod(uctions) inc 1986"
Beautiful stance and great buy !~
