      When member gatekeeper signs on he knows a lot about barbed wire , You might want to check his page he may have posted some like you have already :-)

      I've had friends who were surrounded by barbed wire, but they weren't collectors. LOL !!

      It looks like he was a barb wire collector, and this was part of his collection? As far as telling you about it, you already know what it is, and where it was found. If you want to find the 3 makers names, hold onto your hat. There were over 530 barb wire patents issued, and another 2300 bootleg, or pirate versions that were made by the land owners themselves. All this info, according to the barb wire museum link below. I would send your 3 photos to them, and see if they can find you makers names, and time frames made for them. Good Luck!
