Oh no.....they donated mom's beautiful art to the Goodwill Store? I don't know this artist but there is a special and specific note on the back of picture that gives directions to not sell this piece of art. SEE THE BOTTOM OF THE 3RD PHOTO FOR THE NOTE.
Get it back from them asap
I wish families were not so quick to discard items that were precious to the previous owners!
You probably will never know who the artist was or who the intended heir was so it becomes your precious item to keep safe and appreciate!
It is beautiful!
I was kind of hoping that someone would recognize the signature and then I could contact the family to see what happened. I will just protect it until we find out. I think that we all agree that it's sad that the artist did not get her wish. At least I will follow the wishes and not sell or copy it. Maybe one day it will get back to her if she is still alive.
What a beautiful piece. I just love it
It's beautiful but also brings about even more sadness to the piece by the artist's signing, as if in the blood.
I agree, but it's not so sad in the end. We will get it back to the artist one of these days. At least it's listed on the internet for them to see it if they search. I won't be selling it. I feel like God is watching me.
It states "MY" Original goes to....so whoever the Woman is who wrote this was the Artist, Seems She had Prints made of this piece and She wanted this one which is Original to go to a Family Member. Without much more info will be hard to figure out who KK is....
Oh, I am willing to bet if someone is looking for it hard enough, they will find it. That is a unique signature and the art is eye catching. I agree that she must have had it printed already. Thank you Dizzydave you sound like a pretty good detective.
