This is an Albert Bancroft original oil painting. On the reverse and as pictured is a note from the artist, "Painted for Dr. Sellards A.B."
I contacted a museum that was interested in seeing this painting as they have a collection of his work. I sent a photo to them so they do have it on file or whatever they do. Now I share it with the world!
Update....I just read about one of the paintings on this site was cleaned using saliva and Qtips. I am going to have to give it a try and I will do a re-post of this same piece later. This painting is very darkened with smoke or something and you can see it in the photo of the signature around the border, it is much lighter in color. It should be a great example.
The painting looks quite good on the wall with all the wooden furniture around it. I bet if i had taken that one, i would have portrayed it a much big in screen size. https://www.buyassignmentservice.com/pay-to-do-my-homework
