    WW1 maybe ? Old and well used. No identifiable markings that I can see. Anyone have a clue to this mystery?

      This looks like a bowie style knife. Don't think it was an officially issued military knife. Still looks like an interesting piece.

      What are it's dimensions?

      This looks like a blacksmith made knife. Very often made from old files because it was the highest quality steel they could usually find. Blacksmiths made them in large quantities for there neighbourhood Confederate soldiers. Since they were individually made, it is virtually impossible to guess it's history by looks.
