This is one of two strange knives I was given. Not sure what they would be used for. Ceremonial , decorative maybe?

Your knife is of the "filipino negrito bolo knife style". Most of these were, and still are, hand made from old vehicle leaf springs, with a water buffalo handle. Great Knives! I have owned one in the bowie style for over 45 years now.

Forgot to add the "horn" in water buffalo, as in "water buffalo horn handle." I wish we had an edit feature here at CW! lol
