I have collected WMF glass, both Ikora and Myra, for many years [Pic. 4]. It was only recently I became interested in the necklaces, since some of them can be used as "masculine jewellery". My first was the most elaborate [Pic. 2]. Bicolored beads at the bottom, smaller red beads at thee top, separated by gold cylinders. My second, deceptively simple [Pic. 2]; 5 yellow beads which, I have found out, glow under an UV, indicating the presence of uranium. The third [arriving soon] has two sizes of white beads resembling pearls. They too, according to my research, will glow under UV. All of them are unmarked and 16" long. Curiously, they are not covered in the otherwise definitive book on the subject. Most people routinely state that [a] they were difficult to make and [b] that, therefore, they are rarer to find. A cursory look at the Net seems to disprove both assertions.
