I made the trip down to attend an antiques fair yesterday, after not going for a few months due to being busy with moving.
First photo shows an unusual Victorian glass vase, clear with applied machine threading in lemon yellow. The top has a wonderfully complex crimp almost reminiscent of a bearded iris. I believe it to be English origin, perhaps Stevens & Williams.
Second photo shows a curious Victorian glass thorn vase, with a dramatically cut top. It shades from a peachy hue to clear. Perhaps Bohemian? This was an op shop find on the way to the fair.
Third photo shows a miniature paperweight, the smallest I've seen, only 3 cm across, with a single large cogwheel type cane containing a cluster of small canes. Murano, 1950s.
