Found in old Atlas

I'm not sure if this is worth checking out. It's 8X10 and is signed Galle in the upper right corner. I'm not sure if this is the artist or Galle in Sir Lanka. The canvas and painting look quite old. It needs a good cleaning. I found it in an old Atlas my mother had. Any help and direction would be greatly appreciated.
