      Thanks for the link. I'm sure it's an energy sucker for sure. I think i'll just use it as a decorative display. Was hoping to find a wind up one. But was happy to find any.

      You're very welcome Lamplover78. It's a nice looking Tambour and should display nicely among your antique collections. Sessions shifted their production lines from Mechanical to Electric in a big way after WWII. There are plenty of good wind-ups out their if you have room for one. There's nothing quite like the presence of an antique striking or chiming/striking clock.

      Ive recently been having my grandfather clock worked on. It's an 1816-1860 with a huge mercury pendulum. I was surprised at how much mercury was just hanging!
