Hi. I know these aren't particularly old but they are driving me a bit loopy. They are buffalo china plates with a Mickey mouseligo that seems from the 90s. Is this from one of Disney world's restaurants. Doesn't look snazzy enough for a souvenir.
May have been a blank plate which someone has been trying out some china painting or decals on, unless it was a prototype. I don’t think there would be initials on the front of a plate. you could ask on a Buffalo china collectors site

I don't think the red marks are initials - more like an x and a 2. The Mickey decal is very small, and without the ® symbol. Looking at the 'Buffalo' stamp looks worn, MM looks new.
The plate in the link about has a ® on the back.
