Hello everyone,
Here's a vase I've been meaning to post for awhile.
Although I've found plenty of similar shapes I've not traced an exact match and wondered if anyone knows it's maker.
Its colour's are rather unusual. Mostly Ivory and green with a streak or two of dark red and a satin, iridescent finish outside.
It's 21cm tall.
It's had a hard life Fran - Kralik for me.
Hi Phil, agree, 'nibbled' doesn't cut it, 'chewed' would be a better description. It was only 50p so worth it for interest alone. I wondered Kralik or possible Rindskopf, they both produced a lot of glass with satin finishes. May I ask what it is that suggest it's Kralik to you?
There is an exact shape on CW in red with ivory, I’ll try to find link. Shapes are hard to pin down because everybody copied each other with confetti decor and with loved cut shapes. I vote Ruckl because of the type of green and related shapes but this is just a guess
Hi kralik1928, thank you for the input. There are So many shapes similar to this it can be hard to tell an exact match. There's one pictured on Craigs kralikglass.com under kralik decors, different colour's but the shape looks identical. I'd like to see the red and Ivory one if you can find it :)
