I had a busy week entertaining guests from out of town but did manage to get to one estate sale on Saturday where I found this antique etching. It was out in the garage and the glass was covered with dust and dirt.It took half a roll of paper towels and a lot of windex and here is the end result of my 5.00 purchase. There is a monogram on bottom left that I havnt deciphered yet.If anyone there is familar with etching I would love to more it thanks.

A preparatory drawing for Adam and Eve by Peter Paul Rubens, I think.

The Fall of Man, Adam and Eve or Adam and Eve in the earthly paradise is a 1628-1629 painting by Rubens, now in the Prado in Madrid. Once attributed to the minor Dutch artist Karel van Mander, it is now recognised as a work by Rubens. Wikipedia
