I recently found this beautiful set in a thrift store. There is a 12" footed tray, some 3" footed cups and 5" saucers. The lace appears to be hand-painted. There are several different patterns.
I guess it to be Italian from around the '40s but I am unsure. I see some labeled as Bohemian and some called Moser. Unless someone can share the origin with me, I am sticking with my first guess.
also see these listed as Salviate Venetian Murano
Stunning pieces!
It is called Enamel, Done by Moser for Salviate like Tallcakes has mentioned. Can't believe You found those in Thrift Shop, LUCKY YOU!!! lol
Thanks Tall and Dizzy. Yes I am lucky at finding things, too lucky it seems. I tell people I have trails in my house but I am working on tunnels.
I have just bought black and red glass liqueur set with overlaid white enamel lace... with a tray... in researching it I found Parad Hungarian glass very similar...
Very late to the party I think the saying goes. Didn't notice is was two years old. Ah well. I enjoyed doing some research anyway. Some Moser history:

Thanks Gillian....better late than never....hey...????
But thanks for sending your research points.. I love Moser and also Murano...and have often wondered about the merging and seeming crossover... the difficulty in deciding whether its either/or... The item in question I will post on my site with the question still remaining...it seems more Murano to me....take a look if you will...when I have posted to shortly....
Thanks so much ????
