Portuguese Olive Jug?

I purchased this jug from a thrift store near Amsterdam, last summer, believing it to be Portuguese.
There's no mark. The decoration looks Mediterranean.
At second thought, it looks like a Portuguese reproduction of an 18th century faience olive oil jug/jar.
Please correct me if I'm wrong..!
