Any info on this would be greatly appreciated . This bottle was found in a storage unit that was acquired through an auction. I saw one like it on this site but that one was made of resin and was said to be fake.

These are meant to be lacquer called, usually red and called cinnabar for the color, sometimes green or ivory colored. The handcrafted process is a multiple application of natural plant resin that takes several days to be of the right thickness and dried, to be carved with a scenic Oriental scene.

I would not call this a fake, but also not made in the old traditional Chinese way. Seems to be a coating of a type of compound and carved. The marked base seems to be copper metal, this should be wood or a lacquer. The very old ones were not marked on the base. I think mid 20th century or so.
