A friend of mine has these two items we are trying to find any info on them can someone help us out. We think the one looks like a drill press is one but we can’t find any info like when it was made what drill was use in it. Only thing worte on it is ( Poper Iron & Wire Works Inc ) on the handle. The other item we know it is a scroll saw but there isn’t any thing on it at all needing info on it. Last is a metal can opener and sealer but who by and when was it made.
Pics. #1 and #2 show a "Universal Drill Press Stand", where a portable drill motor is fastened in, to make a drill press. Pic.#3 shows an electric scroll saw.
Pic#4, appears to be a "National Automatic Can Sealer", circa, 1930's and beyond.

I believe you will find pictures #1 & #2 are a of a bench top spring assisted grommet press used for setting grommets in leather work. The bit that is in it is for pressing the grommet there should be another bit for punching out a hole to fit the grommet.

Thanks to ones that told me what they know about the items I have posted but we will just find another wed page that can give soon info with out being a smart ass about it when the items don’t have any info on the items then you could only ask for assistance from people that handle antique items so I will go where they do.
