    Here's another piece found in the trash outisde the old Buddhist temple here in my neighborhood. I don't know who this figure is, but will look him up when i get a chance. There are quite a few marks - written in pencil on the base. i'd love to get a translation or the general gist of it.

      This is Sun Wukong - the Monkey King. He's not playing a flute, but pulling a magic string out of his ear. bizarre, but true! it's complete - no missing flute or anything.

      Well, a martial stick. The bottom says brought from HK in 1959.
