      Afraid this had traumatic life and not worth much. Notice the wrist of the stock is fractured. No name or markings ?

      I wouldn't pay for an appraisal for this one. It is still worth more than the tourist knives people post.

      Double-barrel 12 gauge percussion cap muzzleloader, looks to be late 1800's. Maker, unless its marked? Maybe if You trade out on of your pics with a closeup of top of barrel were is breaks open.

      Was trying to figure its missing parts and would like to see top side close up. Why do you think its not percussion, looks to be missing both cock hammers?

      The breech is open. I uses shells & the hammers hit firing pins. "Rabbit-ear" shotgun. They still make a few of them.

      Agree with buss-- not a muzzle loader. Open breech on photo #3 makes this an easy determination.

      "12 gauge"-- How were you able to determine the gauge based on these photos?
