Eastlake Late Victorian Chair

I tried a few times but the photo always turns out sideways. I give up now. Maybe tomorrow I will give it another try.
I bought this chair some weeks ago. The idea was to restore it but for now I just fixed a missing screw. I still have to re-do dome of the attempts to restore the needlework. Someone tried to fix the dark red background with beige yarn. What were they thinking?

The colours of the needlepoint have faded a bit but, overall, the chair is in good vintage condition. It has the original rollers in the front and all the springs appear to be present. I just wouldn't think it was made for a large to sit on it.
