Just finished cleaning up 2 oil lamps purchased a few weeks ago. The one on the left is a William Noe and sons Miniature Twinkle oil lamp approximately 7" tall.P&A mnft co.Acorn stamp on burner wheel Acorn burner and collar in brass.Stars are perfectly set although some fading and the Letters embossed are perfectly aligned.Shade came with lamp.
The one on the right is a 7" clear glass miniature hobnail.Burner was quite rusted and letters are faded so I'm not sure the make, although. It looks to be a P&A Acorn as well.As far as a manufacturer im not sure. The stamp has a circled s in middle underneath with number3.
I'm still trying to use online resources to help date the lamps.Any suggestions are welcome.Suggestions for recommend books for a newbie also appreciated.Thank you

Try googling miniature oil lamps. You have some mfg. names and numbers there all ready.

Thank you for responding. The only information I have found available on William R. Now was through lampworks.com .Bottom left is the twinkle lamp.Bottom Right is the underside of the lampshade where it looks scraped or damaged.
Top right is the underside of the lamp base.
