It's a 1964 nickle with no mint mark. It looks black in color and was wondering if it's something worth saving?

According to a search I did, it is valued from five cents to $43.00. I would hang on to it.

It is worth five cents no mint mark means it was minted it in Philadelphia
The longer you hold onto it the less you’ll be able to buy with it it’s a nickel

Agree-- condition and lack of any silver content would put this one at a nickel!
