Bottlefly
(59 items)
I was somewhat hesitant about posting this one because of its EXTREMELY uncommon color (almost ALWAYS found in cobalt or cornflower blue). In fact, I’ve only seen 1-2 others in the decades that I’ve collected bottles. This one is from Ontario. What made me hesitant was a comment made by another collector that the coloration might be due to a blast of high energy radiation. While this is possible, I am just a tad skeptical about that because of the kind of bottle this is.....a screw top Milk of Magnesia. To go to the trouble, extreme danger of exposure, and cost, for a 50 cent bottle (in blue) seems a bit extreme. Again, it’s possible. Maybe....just maybe though .....they got one or two wrong in the initial run.
