Can anyone shed some light on the style and type of the chairs? We’ve had them for 30years and got them off a elderly friend ,I believe they came from england?

you will not know until you get inside your chair how old it is -- will do a posting on a grandmother chair that my husband and i restored -- the guts of the chair will tell you -- particularly the the pad -- will post a chair that ted & i did -- it is from the 1800s -- it will show up as the pink rocker -- have several pics but i will post 4 that may be the most helpful for you

looks as though the front legs were replaced, they should look the same as the back legs. i kept the new front legs cause i liked them.
