    This particular tapered shape is not that commonly found. Even the slender cylindrical shape doesn't turn up that often in a Welz décor rather than a plain colour with a spiralling frill. The décor is Harlequin Honeycomb.

      Most elegant - the honeycomb spatter takes on a rather different quality when stretched out like that!

      Ooooo...I love the applied leaves/feet over the three balls, and I have never seen one in this style with a patterned decor before. Very nice!

      Thank you, IronLace. An interesting piece in glass terms because the honeycomb is stretched on the stem and jumbled by the complexity of the three ribbed balls of the base.
