Picked up this vase at a garage sale for $5 and would like to know more about it. The markings on the bottom say Germany 110/50. I'm wondering if it could be a Scheurich vase but my next question is when was it made. Most of the vases I have come across say W.Germany but this one just says Germany. I believe the second number (50) is for 50cm or 20" high. The number 110 is the design. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are correct in most of what you have said. W. Germany would have been the mid century pieces. I believe this may be after the 70's for sure. It's a nice piece. It could be a number of different makers, there are so many, it's hard to tell. I say hang on to it for a while at least, if you like it that is... It could prove to be more valuable later.

I took a peek at my sold listings and it could be a number of makers... Bay, Jasba, D & B... on and on, they all used white clay. I was hoping that might help you narrow it down but nope!

I thank you for your information. I quite like the vase so I will be keeping it around for awhile longer. I'm wondering if you have any information with regards to the lamps I have posted. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
