Some years ago I bought this 15 cm long magnifying glass at a fleamarket. It has been my companion at auction views and fleamarkets ever since. Where was it made and when ?

I cannot use these anymore - with a maximum of 12 LED's now, these have become obsolete. The lighted ones have my vote anyday now !~

The lighted ones need batteries and batteries tend to have run out when you need them ...

ahahah I got some that you put on your head, supposed to be for working on jewelry, OMG you have to hold whatever you are working on so close, it's impossible to work on anything. I do have the kind also that the magnifier flips down and those work fine though. My batteries last forever in mine but I know what you mean. When I'm out and about I have my jewelers loupe on a chain around my neck. Don't leave home without that !!!
