Found: Old Rotary International Mantle Clock

This is an old mantle clock a friend of mine found while going through things in his father's old home in middle-Indiana. The friend is quite puzzled because he is a Rotarian himself, but his father was NEVER a member of a Rotary Club but somehow came into possession of this clock. Friend just asked me to post a few photos to see if anyone out there on Show & Tell has seen a clock like this one. Indeed it does not look much like current types of clocks being sold by licensed sellers of Rotary International items. He estimates the age of this clock to be at roughly 100 years old. It does not work, but he is more interested in where it might have come from. And if there is any story about where it was made or why Rotary International gave them out...Thanks in advance.
