I showed these to a Chinese friend and they think they very old-- she said maybe 300 years. They were previously framed and have some water damage. Now these are really cool I really want to know the history. I tried to get the Google text translator to work but I couldn't. It looks like it tells a story and that they should all be hung together. Any ideas? Thanks!

A Chinese person told you these were Chinese? That person does not know their own traditional costumes at all. These are clearly Korean. Not great quality. Can't tell if they are or they aren't 300 years old. My guess is that they are not much older than 100. Each panel based on an exemplary Confucian ideal and the inscription identifies each.
