Spent quite a bit of time trying to find out the maker and still no luck. The front of the bottle is embossed with BCD and the word Cold inside the BCD. The bottom side is embossed with 84 then (sideways) 0 then 7. The bottom is embossed with design patented S-9. I'm wondering who the make is and roughly the age? TIA :)
What exactly does it say on the back?
The back reads - Federal Law Forbids Sale or re-use of this bottle.
Read about this on the site I left for you on your other posted bottle. I don't believe this says "Cold", I think that looks like a Co for Company to me. You will find it from one of the sites though. Let is know if you will. I'm interested to see what you find out.
The "Federal Law" logo was required after 1936 in the U.S.A. It was dropped some time in the 1960's but some glass makers did not bother to eliminate the pattern on their molds.
The letters on the front of the bottle look more like "B" "D" with what may be a larger "C" behind them. I think the "cold" is actually "Co Ltd"
The looks plastic which may help you with dating it. You may also be able to get an idea of it's age if you can still read what's left of the tax stamp on the cap.
