Pretty Jewelry Piece

Miscellaneous piece found in a jewelry box at an estate sale. I forgot the ruler (again!) but it's probably about 1-1/2" in diameter. Does anyone recognize the maker? I want to be sure it's not something "priceless" before I attached a pinback to it. It's very pretty, in good condition and the white portion is plastic. Your thoughts please...
