It's interesting to delve a little deeper in some Czech glass categories, and find some new information in the process.

This started with an obscure Butler Brother Czech glass assortment in their glass catalog pages of 1928. Certainly looked different than much of the other stock they were advertising, called a VENETIAN STYLE GLASS ASSORTMENT, representing three different pieces drawn with optic molded patterns: diamonds, ribs and chevrons. The second line of text states: reproductions of high priced Venetian ware. Excellent designs and color combinations.

As you can see with the pink glass pieces I assembled here from my collection, they are many more types than shown, as well as types of decors, as some pieces were also produced in Tango red and orange, and multi glass spatters without the optic effect, using a different molds. There is a more involved paragraph on my site's Kralik information.

The exact description from this BB ad is: 6 styles, average height 8 inches, fine quality blown glass in a variety of artistic shapes. rose, green and amber transparent glass with hand made applied contrasting color handles and edges.

I was able to find many colors and variations with images of these pieces but not able to share here on CW. You can check the site and see more of these Kralik glass items.

There is an attribution to Welz for a few pink glass and cobalt blue application pieces , as well as a few pink and green application, the reason being that they are scalloped fans. I find that these fans do have some shape variations, especially noticeable in the stem and foot rest proportions. As much of the Czech glass that was made, it is certainly possible that both Welz and Kralik produced scalloped fans. In fact the range of glass fans Kralik designed is quite large and varied. The Butler Brothers catalogs show two different scalloped fans in two different decors and overall shapes.
