Tea set my grandmother had in a cabinet since the dawn of time. Just want to know who made it. The only markings are the ones pictured. No markings on the bottom of any of the items.

I have a set like this. I tried selling it. But because there is no maker stamped under it I can't get anything for it. I created an account just to tell you this. can you send me some more pics? My pattern is different.
Mine is EXTREMELY fragile. Is yours?

I too have a set like this, packed away in my loft for years. It was my grandmothers, but I don’t think they are worth anything. They seem to be very common and eggshell thin! Do you think anyone actually used them?
I just found a saucer and a little tea cup with same ladies face but a different design.. I was just looking it up and found this. On the bottom of my saucer, it says GEM CHINA with a design around it and under that it says made in japan, I'm not sure if that helps much. That's all the info I got..
Wait wrong picture sorry...
Thank you everybody for the help. I didn't think it was worth a king's ransom, but a little shocked at how little value there is in this beautiful tea set. Yes it is paper thin. I'd be terrified to use it. My mother shipped it out to me and 2 of the snack plates and cups died en route. I still have four sets, plus the tea pot, sugar bowl, and cream cup.
