I always called them "pink Diaspora", but recent discoveries by loetz.com and a posting by Warren made me revisit the page and look under "Orbulin" [which, by the way, is the name for a completely round worm]. There, I found all of them, recategorized. 1. would be "old Orbulin" whereas 2,3 would be "new Orbulin". The last photo illustrates the fundamental difference. Notice that in all of the pieces the glass is of the same color inside and out, but not the pink.

Beautiful. But I think the second photo is only the smaller vase of the new orbulin. Interesting is photo 3. What is this source?

Correction. Both vases are probably new Orbulin. I mistook shape. Sorry.

Could someone post side by side pics. of Pink Diaspora and Orbulin?

Al, the biggest revelation of this discovery is that it appears that there are no Pink Diasporas! All of them are Orbulin (unless someone can produce one that is made like the green and candia ones are)

Larsel, the source is a an Argentor catalog in black and white, chuckful of Loetz mounted on their metal frames. Warren, I had come to exactly the same conclusion but did not dare say it!
