      Nice photos-- they look to be 1870s carte de visite images (size not posted). Not sure what war you are attributing them to?

      Do you happen to know the medal in the picture? It's a Berlin blue star.

      None of the pictured men look like they could have served in the American Revolution. Photos are fuzzy, but surviving Rev War soldiers (very old men) were documented photographically in the 1860s.

      Additionally, these appear to be German images-- I can see Dresden in one.

      I am not familiar with the "Berlin blue star".
