Not sure why the pictures are on the side, but anyway, I bought this rocker about 25 years ago on Florida. I intended to reupholster it, but did not have time. Now that I have time retired in Texas, I want to know more about its value, type of wood, and origin, etc. It is solid as I can sit on it and weigh 220lb. It has one small area on the left arm that is a fissure in the wood (you can see from side view) and would need repair, plus the bottom webbing needs re-tacked. Springs are in good shape, but padding could be replaced. Other than that the finish is good to excellent. Any inputs would be welcome.
