Hutschenreuther 8 inch . A Goodwill item. Information I have ; back mark with L.H.S was in use from 1939 to 1965. Im having a problem finding similar plates . They are a yellowish ,not white . 1939 -1965 ? They are signed , not all by the same artist.

I think these may have been white blanks which were hand painted by a talented amateur. In the USA, back in the turn of the 20th century onwards, it was very popular to have china painting groups , they mostly used white blanks from Europe.

Thank you maryh1956 , its a possibility but I'm wondering how readily available were Hutschenreuther blanks. As of now I have to assume they are genuine but will do detective work on the painting groups.
