This is a Lane rotating coffee table that I am trying to find information about. I have looked elsewhere to no avail.

You can find the exact date of manufacture by reading Lane's serial number backwards.
So your table was made 02-28-59
      February 28, 1959.

I came across 2 small side tables on eBay that were made 1 year before yours in 1958.
They are listed as "Rare Vintage Lane tables with patriotic themed Catalina ceramic tiles".
The tiles have some of the same designs as yours.
A quick check of US history 1958, 1959 shows that Alaska Statehood Act was signed by President Eisenhower in 1958 and Alaska became 49th state in 1959.
Likely, that's the huge deal that prompted the table design with all the scenes depicting American history.
