I lovthis desk. I bought it used. I was trying to find what style or what era it was from but I can't find anything very similar. Does anyone have any idea?

With the raised edge across the back, I wonder if this originally had a mirror attached. If so, it may have been a "dressing table". Check the back for signs of mirror attachment.

You're right..looks like a mirror could have been attached..it must have been a vanity. There's a patent number on back.."280,"
Someone wrote in marker "171-280". What would this style be called? Maybe 1950s?

I believe this is Federal Style. The drawer pulls are characteristic as well as the curved front.
      I hope that helps you.
It's beautiful no matter how you use it!
