    is this considered primitive? it's definitely rustic and looks handmade. Different types of wood used in drawers... I've never seen one like it.

      Be careful what you call primitive... I am older than this table.

      The wood used inside drawers is usually a secondary wood. It doesn't show so they use less expensive wood there.
