      the 3rd picture is seth thomas , that's the only one that i know what it is, i will have to look at the movements on the other ones. thanks for the information.

      Those are some beautiful French Clocks there HEDVAL. The Seth Thomas and Sons' example kind of illustrates how American Manufacturers attempted to "knock off" the European Style with relatively cheap, mass produced models. French clocks are (or can be) very difficult to nail down as far as models and dates of manufacture are concerned since their clock industry was much more dispersed. The movements used were mass produced and distributed to smaller companies for casing. Also, many businesses and records were destroyed in the European-based World Wars. I would suggest that you produce a separate listing for each clock with four photos for each, including a good, well-lit photo of the movement.       yes, the french ones are hard to trace , i have around 5 that i can't find out the dates on, but i keep trying, never know when one shows up and its the same as i have.
