Manufacturer mark - Rosenthal Banhof Selb....it's the Banhof that is throwing my off (no pun intended). I can not find any information. Nice piece, picked up at local Goodwill Store for $4.99.
Any help with the history, pattern information or any other fun facts?

I think this st a coffee pot? I only say that because of the elongated shape!

Selb is a town, and Bahnhof is a railroad station.

Selb is well known for its porcelain manufacture, and is the home of the Rosenthal (company) factory, founded in 1879 by Philipp Rosenthal as a family business.

The big black mark is a mystery....the photo depicts it accurately.
keramikos - thanks for the links.

keramikos - looks like the "Aida" is a style that comes in various colors and maybe even patterns. I found an "Aida" in white and cream. The coffee pot looks identical, in terms of style, to the one I have listed except for the color/pattern.

I will check with the Porzellanikon museum, thanks for the help.
